Dragonfly day

This was our welcome

after many years of searching

for a house

 which will be our home,
(a table and two chairs so far)

in our twilight years!
But first we have to get Vesta in -
see previous post.

Edited to add with thanks to Milly
for drawing my attention to
the happy symbology of the dragonfly.

  2. A dragonfly, what a welcome for me too, I love them. I once read they are a sign of good well being.
Hope you will be very happy in your new home.

  8. What a lovely house, Lucille. And I see you have wine glasses, so that's all the important things. Maybe a bed?

  14. Thank you all so much. I am just allowing myself to get excited. Annie, it was not an easy road to this house and until we were handed the keys I didn't believe it would happen. Mary, the bed is the next thing on the agenda! Mise, I am covered in swatches and paint charts. Susan the flowers were brought from my friend's garden. We can see each other's houses now through the trees.
