In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
And the earth was without form and void;
and darkness was upon the face of the deep.
And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
And God said, let there be light:
and there was light.
And God saw the light, that it was good:
and God divided the light from the darkness.
And God called the light Day,
and the darkness he called Night.
And the evening and the morning were the first day.
A candle is lit and the light is passed from person to person
A Chaplain says
God said, Let there be lights in the firmament
of the heaven to divide the day from the night;
and let them be for signs,
and for seasons,
and for days, and years.

ReplyDeleteYour image is perfect with this.
ReplyDeleteIs your son in this choir? They sound just lovely, and the reading you posted lifts our hearts to the light that is coming.
ReplyDeleteNo he's not in this choir - he was stewarding. But a good friend of ours is in this video, so I was really pleased to come across it.
