Useful and beautiful

In a scruffy corner of a suburban park
something surprising has been happening.

Little by little

with almost no money

but a great deal of ingenuity

witty recycling,

and hard work from volunteers

a beautiful

and useful

community garden

has been created to benefit local residents and
provide employment  and ground based training
for local unemployed people.

  2. It looks wonderful. I absolutely love that ceiling too.
My Dad grew Chrysanthemums and I was taken to the Headmaster by my infant teacher because I had written chrysanthemum in my news book. Then I had to spell it out loud to him to prove I really knew it.
I always think of Dad when I see them and smell them.
