A lovely visit to a farm today,
and a camera full of calves, piglets and lambs.
So far only three birds have escaped
and I have done some predictable pondering
about living where we live
and leaving where we live
maybe, perhaps,
one day.
The question is

barn birds
at heart ?

My parents moved to become countrymice shortly after I graduated. It is difficult to imagine them anywhere else now.
