Spring cleaning 2

From Through the Kitchen Window by Susan Hill (1984)
illustrated by Angela Barrett,
a breezier approach,

(plus a small crinoline lady for Wend).

What he actually says is,

'Bother!'
'O blow!'
'Hang spring-cleaning!'

from The Wind in the Willows by Kenneth Grahame.

So moved like Mole 'by the spirit of divine discontent and longing',

I have taken a break from cleaning too.

There are flowers to admire.

  1. I enjoy your collection of vintage, illustrated books to complement the colours from the home.

  2. I enjoy them, too ... it will be two more months here before the daffodils begin to bloom.
