Same happening over here.... have commented on the number of poppies that are appearing. Also, we have several wild orchids which are religiously "marked" to be mown around on our excuse for a lawn. Several have sulked and not shown this year, but one audatious new one one has appeared in the asparagus bed! I think it knows it will be allowed to stay...:O)
I haven't planted any poppies in my garden - but there they are popping up all over the place. Those in the veggie garden I've transplanted, the rest I've left where nature planted them!
Those poppies are quite presumptuous...and beautiful.
