Homemade lemonade,
Miss Mole by E.H Young,(thank you Mary),
with a bonus inverted 'f' on page 108,
(you can take the girl out of proof-reading but
you can't take the proof-reader out of the old girl),
O's company before he
wings his way to far off shores again,
and this song.
Can I be pedantic - that looks more like an empty glass than home made lemonade. Miss Mole is now on my 'to read' list after visiting Mary's site. Nice to see you and 'O' enjoying the last of the summer sun.
ReplyDeleteYes you can. I welcome pedantry. The empty glass demonstrates how much I was enjoying it.
DeleteHave you found it?
ReplyDeleteMay we have a photo of the inverted f, and a normal one for compare and contrast purposes?
ReplyDeleteIt's on my to do list. I should have supplied the full glass of lemonade for compare and contrast purposes too.
DeleteI've noticed a few red leaves here and there so know autumn is knocking on the door. A glass of lemonade may be just the thing for our unusually hot days that are predicted.
ReplyDeleteNot in my edition! Clearly, I also need to get a life as I rushed off to check, too.
ReplyDeleteBut I'm glad you're all enjoying it. I do love the way that blog-friends rush to buy books; if I'd recommended this to my book group, I doubt that anyone would have been interested. I am now awaiting delivery of an Elizabeth Bowen recommended by Darlene and Rachel (Cosy Books and Book Snob).
Thank you for the reminder Lucille, I forgot to order it when I read Mary's blog but it has been done now.
