We hadn't seen Tall Cat for months.
It was rather a sad and puzzling absence.

He reappeared at the kitchen window yesterday
and came in for his bowl of milk as if he'd never been away.

What an honour to share a post with a cat with a mind of its own and that fine blue background, against which anything orange would look so well. May we hope for a pumpkin?
ReplyDeleteI think Mise and Tall Cat have been away together. Mise probably doesn't scratch furniture though.................. (well, that's what I like to think......).
ReplyDeleteOh Lucille, I'm glad that Tall Cat has returned from that walkabout. Great that you had his bowl of milk at the ready.
ReplyDeleteI somehow just knew that Mise would have already commented.
Yes, It's a grand month to welcome friends who've been absent for awhile.
xo
Maybe he had the hump with you for going away on holiday and abandoning him. Looks like all is forgiven now.
ReplyDeleteWell, you should see my furniture after Mise visited. Just saying.
ReplyDeleteWhat a stunning cat - a very welcome visitor I'm sure. Hopefully you will have the turbot ready next time he drops by?
ReplyDeleteAnd "spraying" on furniture? Let's not go THERE.................................
ReplyDeleteI'm with Sue on this ... have you tried to engage him on the subject of fish?
ReplyDeleteLooking positively svelte ... perhaps another bowlful wouldn't go amiss ?
ReplyDeleteHow lovely to see Tall Cat - and Mise too.
ReplyDeleteYay! And what a pretty kitty! I adore butterscotch tabbies.

What an adventurer! This is amazing! To come back to the house, where he is loved... You're his family!:)
