Empty

I think it close to miraculous

that I walked along a beach

as empty as this,

scattered with shells,

 sculpted by the outflowing tide,

 lit by the daily drama

of a westward slipping sun,

less than two hours' drive from London.

Empty.

  6. And I just did exactly the same, with the Mr and five whippets, on a totally empty beach in North Wales. We had it entirely to ourselves. Wonderful, wasn't it :D

  8. I'm always surprised how you can still find empty beaches, even in the middle of summer. I love your photographs and words, I could almost smell the sea and sunshine! Jane xx

  9. I just found you from the beloved Annie of knitsofacto. I believe that I have been blessed twelve times twelve to have found you.
    Oh, my. What goodness.
