It is a shame that peonies don't hang on to their petals a bit longer. I can't believe you have roses already - love the plum coloured one, like crushed velvet, beautiful, as is the picture of the florists - wow, such a lot of choice.
I share your admiration for peonies...they are so delicate, so beautiful. Thank you for these views from France...I've got some NYC peonies on view over at my place.
Beautiful peonies and roses. Oh how I wish I as at Ile de Cite. Funny I just changed my desktop wallpaper to a photo from Tuileries....I love Paris in the Springtime!

Such a magical array of flowers. I especially love that deep purple rose.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness...extraordinary peonies, roses, and a field of flowers...so pretty!
ReplyDeleteWhat gorgeous peonies and roses! And what a delightful tour of gardens and Parisian florists, too.
ReplyDeleteParisian florist - amazing! How would one choose?
ReplyDeleteTrès beau! :)

ReplyDeleteLovely! And you used limes like Jane used lemons. They look great.
ReplyDeleteI did! But not quite enough to pack the jar out like Jane did.
DeleteWonderfull flowers, greeting from belgium
ReplyDeleteOhhh..so beautiful! I have two peonies this year after transplanting some from a friend three years ago.
ReplyDeleteHow LOVELY. Our peonies have been in bloom about 2 weeks now. They are so dear to me. I love the limes in the first photo. Clever!
