I shut the door to a house today, turned and smiled at teeny tiny lambs (speckled grey, and black and white, complete with black "socks") and willed it to be warmer for them.....
Farming Today this morning painted a graphic picture of the difficulties this lambing season has brought in Shropshire and the Welsh borders with so much grass still under deep snow drifts. The lambs in Sussex are at least seeing grass but shivering in the biting wind.
I heard this morning that our 'normal climate' would return next week. Sigh.....
ReplyDeleteWe didn't even get that much sun today. Lovely to see the lambs though, thank you for that.
ReplyDeleteCutting wind and tiny snowflakes- I've retreated inside. I do so love to see the lambs arrive, thank you for your photographs of them.
