Teetering



The highest tide we have ever seen here
and it was still coming in.




This pine tree is digging its heels in
on the softly crumbling cliff edge.

There is a garden pavilion not far behind.

  1. oh.... the sort of place where you find yourself holding your breath.... All so precarious, isn't it! But concrete sea defences are such an ugly alternative especially in beautiful areas; make you wonder why bother?

    1. There is concrete further along and a sea wall protecting a low lying mobile home park but only just.
