I'm going to make you a star

I have just discovered origami -
the perfect activity for getting in the flow

while simultaneously transforming a pile
of magazines into Christmas decorations.

And it keeps my hands out of the Kettles* crisp bag.

I used these instructions.

*Still no freebies.

  1. I love your stars, but they make me feel inadequate. Surely there will be freebies on the third mention.

    1. I doubt it, but I could lead by example and send *them* a free star.

  2. I'll have to share the instructions with my grandson. He enjoys origami.

  3. I might not get around to making any of these starts until after the first day of Christmas, but I love the way yours look and thank you lots for the link to the instructions.

I will hold off on the magazine recycling for a while....

  4. Do you want me to write to Kettles (along the lines of "I'm not writing about me but about a friend) or do you think that might sound too, too desperate?

(60 bags of Kettles for a sixtieth perhaps?.... just a thought.......

    1. It's kind of you to offer to use your influence Cathy, but honestly you'd better not. 60kg ought to be my weight. There'd be no chance of reaching it.

  8. I adore your stars, but the instructions made me feel so inadequate to the task I wanted to weep. My admiration for you, always high, has now reached stratasferic levels.
