抹茶*

New taste favourite.

It does taste a bit like twigs and lichen.

But like moss,
it's growing on me.

* Matcha green tea

  1. I'm impressed by your adventurous spirit. Please can you try some of the vivid green Japanese sweets which I assume are flavoured with Matcha and report back.

  2. Liking the lichen. I'm instilled with calm just by looking at it.

  3. It looks lovely. My mouth wants to grimace just at the thought of drinking it, though......

  4. How did it taste? I'm sure it is terribly healthy - what is it supposed to do?

    1. Grassy. I like a matcha latte as I'm a Philistine.

      Thrilling benefits. I didn't even know about these until you asked.

  6. I've been wondering about matcha but haven't taken the plunge yet... I like how green tea always feels ceremonial enough to stop whatever I'm doing and just relax and savour the experience. Jasmine tea has that effect on me too.

  7. Ergh, nasty stuff that - all green tea in fact. The benefits sound rather amazing though.

    Ooh, did you see the price of an ounce on that page?!
