Oh don't remind me of the horrors of '76. Personally I am hoping that these last two days will be the last we see of this excruciating heat - not for me I'm afraid, I am more of a winter person, although it is nice to go out early morning and evening, as for the rest of the day I sit behind shuttered Windows wilting like a lettuce.
I don't remember '76 particularly. Maybe it wasn't so hot here, or maybe I was sweltering in a hot classroom with lots of hot teenagers who didn't want to be there, so I've buried the memory. It's a bit too hot here now but one shouldn't complain, should one...?
Fabulous. Really, really fabulous. CJ xx
ReplyDeleteFABULOUS!!!!!! ;-)
ReplyDeleteI am absolutely certain that it was not so long ago!

DeleteIt's funny how we remember '76 but not other years when the summers have been good!

ReplyDeleteHurrah! What wonderful photographs Lucille! And the flowery hat and the little one wearing it, are adorable.
