  1. Dear Lucille, I love your pictures from Kew, and applaud your use of the exclamation point!

I had a more subdued day on the early shift at my workplace, but admit that along the way encountered some quietly lovely moments, some of which I might even remember when the next leap year comes around.

Thank you so much for these photographs of a place I love to visit at many times of the year.

    1. We've bought ourselves a Friend's Pass and are determined to visit throughout the year. Even with the Temperate House closed until 2018 there is so much to see.

  3. I drifted through the day business as normal. No visits to beautiful places :(

  4. We were friends of Kew Gardens for a number of years. Sunday afternoons were just perfect for a wander round. The Palm House on a rainy afternoon followed by a cup of tea and a bun was perfection!

  5. I envy you your visit and I think your use of exclamation marks is entirely justified.

That Egyptian Goose is an odd looking thing.

  6. What a splendid way to spend your extra day ... a perfect leaping celebration. Loved your photos and the glimpses of Spring arriving in your corner of the world.

Over the years I've really tried not to overuse the exclamation mark, but there are times when it is justified!

Wishing you a happy, happy day!!!
