Let me count the ways


 How many ways can you spell contemporary?

It's the BBC for goodness sake.
Was someone having a laugh?
I've tried telling them about it
and had two holding emails so far.
See how grumpy I am?

    "click view all under genre" you say, but I can't find that bit. Anyway, there is only one way to spell that word surely?

      I should have been clearer. They had four attempts at the spelling. Some of them very creative.

    Oh, Lucille, I laughed and laughed! Maybe it was part of the comedy I hope?
    I made the mistake of saying, when asked about a local retail store, that I just couldn't shop where a painted sign advertised that they sell "stationary." Then found out I was talking with the owner. I'll just stop here.

    I'm grumpy too, though if I'm honest that could have something to do with just being back from the dentist.

    Good on you, Lucille! Similarly grumpy, I write complaining emails to the ABC (in Australia) ClassicFM people every time their web playlist does not match the actual broadcast. There's a lovely person who faithfully replies every time and thanks me for the correction. Maybe there's a job waiting for her at the BBC?
