From the kitchen window

This picture reminds me of Sylvie Howitt's intricate paper cuts 

currently being exhibited at one of the Brighton Open Houses.

The ruffled edge of this heavy bank of cloud grazed the sinking sun,

which only momentarily illuminated the tree.
