I too, am fond of chiaroscuro. When the westering sun filters through the blinds of the sitting room window and the shadows of birch leaves tremble against the wall, I am touched with a sense of joy. Your photo of the moonlit night is haunting.
Lucille, my response to these fine photographs would to be to add color to the theme. Each of the pictures has subtle color as an ingredient. And I am reminded of some of what I tried to achieve via mezzotints.
