Free seeds

These Marconi Rosso peppers from a free packet of seeds were very slow to get going and I almost gave up on them. But they have thrived on my neglect and produced some tiny fruits. More verde than rosso though.

Late afternoon sun on the landing.

Rogers catches a rainbow in the hall.

Red, orange, yellow and green

Supper in the making - not the physalis.

Apples

I can see these beautiful red apples from my bathroom window and they would be very useful if only I could reach them.

Borrowed hydrangea

This dogwood leaf was backlit by the sun yesterday. Today it has fallen.

A hydrangea has appeared over the fence.
I'm glad to have it outside my back door
as none of the ones I've ever planted have survived.
