Last time I was in Tinsmiths in Ledbury there was a sofa covered in green velvet, not quite moorhen’s foot, more mossy and altogether gorgeous.
Someone ought to hire you to name the colors on the swatches at the paint store. I use ostrich feather on most of my walls, but an accent wall of moorhen's foot would be welcome.
They're so incredibly shy, I can't actually remember ever seeing a moorhen's foot.
And one as soft as those feathers look...I think you may have missed your vocation Lucille... I don't believe Farrow and Ball's paint chart has a 'moorhen's foot' green yet... :-)
