Looking up in NY and LON

An email from son one in New York saying all was well took a weight off my mind
so I went up to London and had a lovely time walking about - looking up.

This doesn't look like London does it?
Amsterdam maybe?
The engraved lettering reads, Lavers and Barraud. They were partners in an English firm of stained glass manufacturers who specialised in High Gothic revival glass from 1858.
