I have considered wearing the ones left behind to give them a shot at a life of high jinks and jollification, but what would people think? Perhaps your necklace is on a slow boat to Rio to join up with my mismatched earrings for Carnival.Nib's Endhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00820552995581749771noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8630924445657816001.post-83947023926283413392015-01-22T23:40:09.779+00:002015-01-22T23:40:09.779+00:00I'm not Catholic, but I'm with Rebecca S. ...I'm not Catholic, but I'm with Rebecca S. This means that if you are sure the thing has disappeared in your house (usually absentmindedly put at a wrong place), then tie a belt (I use fabric ones) to a chair's foot. It stays there until you find the lost thing. Or until the moment you lose hope and give up.:) It's funny, yes, but I have tried it and sometimes it works! Then one day, with no glasses on and no contact lenses in, I rolled over in bed, looked just over the side of the mattress and there was my earring, sitting in a tiny space in the grooves that hold the bed slats in place. Who'd have thought. The other place where I regularly lose my watch, car keys etc is my apron. I'm wise to that one now. Good luck with finding it. Oh another idea, as a last resort I often offer an eleven year old a pound to find something. The last thing was a dead rat under the piano that I could smell and my husband swore was not in the house. Unaccountably, your necklace isn't there. I hope light dawns. (It's not in your leather jacket pocket? I've just read that post out to my husband and we both chortled, which was very good since we're both feeling very sad since our little cat Cassie has died and we're BEREFT).
