Last week I was in France and became very excited when I spotted a Hummingbird Hawk Moth, only to glance at the next plant along which had almost a hundred of them! I had never seen one before.

I don't like the flavour of lavender in food.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8630924445657816001.post-69175643077643603312016-09-19T20:48:32.674+01:002016-09-19T20:48:32.674+01:00I love that last photograph. Bliss.

It's about time for me to purchase some of this year's lavender crop at the market, so that I can freshen up some of the little lavender bags I've made over the years. Too quick for my camera too. Do you confine your lavender to the linen cupboard and knicker drawer, or perhaps use it to discourage scorpions from invading the homestead? We have a surfeit and I don't know what to do with it all.Nib's Endhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00820552995581749771noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8630924445657816001.post-50488651624963404592016-09-15T21:54:48.922+01:002016-09-15T21:54:48.922+01:00Oh they've been wonderful warm days haven'...Oh they've been wonderful warm days haven't they. I can imagine how blissful it was harvesting the lavender. I hope one day to have enough to harvest here too. It's just about my favourite smell. In fact you've reminded me I have a huge bag of it in the cupboard, I must dig it out and make more lavender bags. CJ xxCJhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14311693185700341580noreply@blogger.com
