Under the weather

Sickroom daffodils brought to you by A. Hacking-Cough.
So in lieu of a decent springlike post
may I refer you to a post of yesteryear.

  2. Yesteryear post much enjoyed. I do hope you feel better soon. (I am well but my blog definitely needs a sickroom, "techinical difficulties" have been diagnosed!).

  11. Thank you all for your kind wishes. It is traditional for me to be indisposed for my birthday so I'm hoping I have got it in early and will be fully restored and less revolting to listen to by April. At least I can't be bitten by a Japanese tick this year.

  12. Dear Lucille, the daffodils are very cheering. Thank you for sharing them with the rest of us, while you recover full health.

Yes, hoping you'll be 100% in time for your birthday. xo

  13. Sorry to hear you are Proper Poorly. Surprisingly, I am not, but I suppose everyone deserves the occasional short break between one killer cold and the next. It's been a terrible winter for germs. Don't forget the efficacy of pineapple juice for a tickly uncontrollable cough, and get well soon.

    1. It has been exceptional. I used to pride myself on never getting colds. This year I blame it slightly on the germs circulating in playgroups, nurseries and playgrounds which I am newly exposed to on a regular basis. I've never tried the pineapple cure so thanks for that tip. May you stay germ free now that spring is here.
