The Backs

Looking back at this lovely view from O's room for the last time.

Walking back from the Senate House
after the degree ceremony.

Lying back on the grass in Nevile's Court.

The Backs seen from the Wren Library.

And he'll be back next year!

  2. Congratulations to your son on his graduation.

Your 'You might also like' widget offered me a link to a post titled '23' from 2010, and because I can never resist the image of a baby I clicked on it, only to discover that your elder son almost shared a birth date with my daughter, who hung on in the end into April 6th.

  3. Lucille, I am always happy to see views of this beautiful place, and wish I had ever been entitled to have a little lie down on that lawn.

Congratulations to all those who have earned such a moment in the sun. (I am trying to connect this comment to the light show of the prior post....) Hoping I have succeeded. xo to you and yours

  4. How lovely for you to be able, via your clever son, to become part of this amazing history. What a good feeling that must be - with summer apparently making a special guest appearance to top off the experience.

I had hoped for something similar, but alas, my daughter in now languishing in the Sydney winter, never to return to these hallowed halls after her unceremonious ejection!
