  4. I read A Midsummer Night's Dream while avoiding revising something else entirely. I enjoyed it so much.

  5. haha, not the worst procrastination activity, better than visiting blogs just before bedtime instead of doing the final, very important preparations for tomorrow's class

  6. You wash candles? So how do you light them the next day - are the wicks not damp?

I don't pay tax so I have no returns to do, may I help you with yours?

  7. Now don't you wish that you had loyal helping hands?

The only reason I finally filled in my tax return a couple of months back, was that my candles were already gleaming.

Should you change your practises and opt one day for staff, I find three full-timers works at a pinch for me as a single man. For you and yours I would imagine ten might suffice.

  8. Your post made me grin in recognition. Some of us are polishing cats instead. Still haven't logged in yet.

  9. My floors, with all five animals and a teenager, are never so clean as during tax time!

  10. I am heartily ashamed. I leave all the tax procrastination to my husband. We have no clean candles, nor polished cats. We do, however, have sports on television.

  11. I had to do a tax form once. As I was fully employed by the local council, I argued with the tax office about it, but they insisted that I do it. Then when I had, they rang to say I shouldn't have, and why did I? Grrrr. It took me HOURS too.

I have never washed candles, but I do pour a trickle of boiling water from the kettle over the worst ones (holding the wick very carefully!), which restores them wonderfully.
