Acclimatising



Roun learns to make bread,


supervises the cooking of sushi rice in a borrowed rice cooker,


and then we have tuna and samphire


with wasabi butter sauce


as an East West compromise
and finish with


a tarte Tatin because everyone
likes apple pie and ice cream.

  1. Excellent, this same menu will do fine when I visit. I have that same blender as you, and the utensil jar, so it'll be like home from home.

  3. I will have that, too, when I visit! :-) I met a Japanese student this past year who gave me several recipes and made sure to give me tips for how to make them accurately or what to serve with them. I loved it!
